My stress simmers, barely bubbles at first, and then the next thing you know I can’t sleep or I catch a cold or I deliberately place my keys in the refrigerator and the ice cream in the cabinet with the herbs and spices.
8 CommentsThe consensus is this: the older one gets, the harder it is to control one’s bladder. It has become embarrassingly obvious that my mouth is going through a similar process.
9 CommentsHow would you know if you’re a SPP (Sand Paper Person)? I think I have the answer for you. I’ve listed the ten most common traits of SPP’s. My list started out with about 20 traits, but eventually I was able to dwindle the list down to 10. This list does not target or mock a particular person (Surely one person couldn’t exhibit all of this sandpaper behavior, could s/he?), rather it is a composite of the sandpaper personalities of hundreds of people (including myself at times) smushed together. Any spot-on resemblance to people you (or I) know in real life is mere coincidence (and perhaps divine providence).
